Hey guys, what’s up? My name is Kevin, and I was born and raised in Prince George, graduating from high school in 2003 and thought my education was over. But life happens—even if it takes a while—now here I am in college! Making the choice to return has been an amazing experience, where I have met so many interesting people.
Growing up I learned to build and program computers. Curiosity led me to try my hand at video game design, where I could use my programming skills and where I started to make some rough looking artwork. It turns out that designing graphics turned out to be something I also enjoy, so I kept at it. With encouragement from my wife and my two children, I finally applied for the Web and Graphics Design program.
Outside of my classes, I found a home at the Aboriginal Resource Center where I now volunteer for many of their events. Now I am very excited to be here at the Students’ Union, where I look forward to supporting the students here in any way I can. If you see me, feel free to stop me and say hello. I always love meeting new faces!
