Throughout all of the events these past few months, we are proud to say that we at the College of New Caledonia Students’ Union have fought for all of our student members. We are proud to say that we have partnered with the College of New Caledonia to give back to students – Domestic, Indigenous and International – with the COVID-19 Emergency Student fund.

On April 2nd, the Minister of Advanced Education Skills & Training Melanie Mark announced emergency funding supports for domestic students at all BC post-secondary institutions. Since then the College has been building a system to divvy out the funds to the students here at CNC. It was during this process that CNC and CNCSU came together to expand upon the funds from the government to support not only domestic students but all students who require financial support during this COVID-19 crisis.

We are proud to say that any student that shows need will be able to apply for this fund. Applications are able to be filled and submitted today.
